Reason For Burnley VS Manchester United Betting Tips
Burnley fell to yet another away defeat last weekend as they visited the rampant Everton and came away on the end of a 3-1 defeat, although in fairness to the Turf Moor outfit they held The Toffees off for a lot longer than expected in that match.
This makes it one win, four draws, and six defeats in their last ten outings in all competitions, but they have had some very difficult fixtures in this run and seven of them have been away from home.
It’s undeniable that Burnley have been shocking on the road this season, but at Turf Moor they are an entirely different team. There they have lost just four of their Premier League games this season and have won six of their last eight, losing only to Tottenham. That 2-0 defeat at home to the in form Tottenham is the only time they have lost by more than a single goal at home this season, so Manchester United will have their work cut out for them on Sunday.
The visitors were taken to extra time on Thursday after drawing 1-1 at home to Anderlecht. They came through that tie to reach the semi finals of the Europa League, but with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo both being forced off injured an extra 30 minutes of play was the last thing a tired Manchester United squad needed.
This followed on from their excellent 2-0 win against Chelsea on Easter Sunday, but they have still won just three of their last six games in all competitions. In the Premier League they are unbeaten since October, but ten of their 22 league games since then have ended all square.
The Red Devils have been better away from home than at Old Trafford, but they’re facing a Burnley side who have taken points off Chelsea, Leicester, Everton, and Liverpool at Turf Moor this season and who have only lost by more than a single goal once. To add even more difficult it’s likely the visitors will be without top scorer Ibrahimovic too.
This makes odds of 1.770 for a Burnley +1.0 Asian Handicap Win look excellent value for money, so I’m backing that along with a 1-1 correct score predictions at 7/1.
