Reason For Chievo VS Torino Betting Tips

Have Chievo packed up for the season and gone on holiday, or are they just in rotten form? The answer is probably a bit of both, along with a problematic injury crisis. It’s not been a great time for the Gialloblu lately, but they’ll be confident against a Torino side who have just three away wins all season. The visitors have just one win in their last five matches, so neither of these two are in form ahead of Sunday’s meeting.

Torino can at least claim to be in scoring form, racking up 60 goals in their 32 matches so far. They’ve got a brilliant forward line, one which is talented enough to take them in to Europe. However, their lack of protection for Joe Hart has cost them dearly over the course of the campaign. The Manchester City loanee has been victim of some poor errors, but he’s often abandoned by Il Toro’s cavalier attacking style. Despite that, manager Sinisa Mihajlovic is rumoured to be going with a more attacking 4-2-3-1 formation this weekend.

It’s hard to see why, given that Torino concede 1.94 goals per game on the road. Despite being ninth in the table, and fourth in the goal scoring charts, only four sides have conceded more than Il Toro. If they decide to commit more men forward, then Chievo should be hopeful of scoring a few. The visitors have already conceded at least twice in their last four trips, which should leave them open on Sunday.

Chievo have conceded twice in their last four Serie A games, taking no points from any of those matches. While they should trouble Torino going forward, the Gialloblu have been far too open so far. They’ve seen at least three goals in five of their last six outings, and that should continue as the away side have seen over 2.5 goals in 69% of their league games. The hosts have scored in four straight at home, while Torino’s last 11 matches have seen both teams score. That has us backing over 2.5 and BTTS, which is priced at 4/5 with bet365.
